Use this traditional aluminium Dutch pot to cook curries and casseroles, roast meat and rice dishes. It can even be used to bake bread and cakes. The ‘Dutchie\’ is commonly associated with Caribbean cooking but you will find this versatile pot in kitchens all over the world. It has a tight fitting lid and can be used on the stove or in the oven.

After use, Dutch pots can be cleaned with boiling water and a brush (no soap). Once dry, they should be given a thin coating of cooking oil to prevent rusting. Store the pot with the lid off or ajar to promote air circulation. With a little care, your Dutch pot should last for many years.
