Description
The Laguiole en Aubrac set of six shell steak knives will instantly elevate your dinner table. The smooth steel blades glide effortlessly through rib eye, fillet and Chateaubriand.
Each knife is crafted from Sandvik stainless steel to produce a durable blade that is corrosion resistant and maintains a sharp edge. The blades are full tang, meaning they\’ve been forged from a single piece of steel. This creates a strong, balanced knife that delivers a smooth, clean cut – even on tougher pieces of meat.
The handles are made from recycled mollusc shells which are finely crushed and compacted with transparent resin. This gives them a smooth, satin finish that feels great in your hand and looks fantastic on your table. This mixed set features handles made with mussel, scallop and oyster shells – there are two of each type.
Presented in a stylish wooden box, this set of premium steak knives is a great gift for carnivores and keen cooks.
About Laguiole en Aubrac
Laguiole en Aubrac brought the art of knife-making back to Espalion in the 20th century, creating the highest quality, artisanal stainless steel knives. The original Laguiole knife dates back to 1829, when a simple folding knife became the talk of not only the town, but the whole country, loved for its practicality and elegant, intricate design.
Fast forward to the 21st century and Laguiole en Aubrac are lovingly creating knives once again. All knives are individually hardened by hand; shaping and fitting are done by hand to the craftsman\’s eye. Each knife is assembled from start to finish in one sequence and by a single craftsman.
All Laguiole en Aubrac knives come with a lifetime guarantee – they\’re a name and knife you can trust.
