Within 1-2 weeks you\’ll see sprouts, 
within 4-5 weeks the organic Chinese chives will be ready to eat, and

You may know of Chinese chives by their alternative name of garlic chives. As the name suggests, this herb has a pungent garlic flavour. To get the strongest taste, chop the chives and add to meat marinades, soups and stews. Chinese chives also make for a more flavourful alternative to regular chives. We love them sprinkled over scrambled eggs to pep up our morning breakfast.
