The flat, almost cleaver-like blade makes short work of a cabbage or roughly chopping harder vegetables such as potatoes. The nakiri also has a wickedly sharp edge, so you can do more precise slicing.
This nakiri knife retains its exceedingly sharp edge, and is also easy to maintain. Plus the indentations at the top of the blade prevent fatty, oily or starchy foods from sticking to the knife.
Do not use on any bones, as this may damage the blade. For culinary use only. Clean as soon as possible after use and dry immediately. Not dishwasher safe. Store in a clean, dry place.
